As a reading and language arts teacher I strive to create a love for reading and writing in my students. One aspect of instilling this love is to provide a warm and inviting place to read and enjoy books. Students will be able to sit on comfortable, bright and colorful pillows and rug while enjoying a good book.
My students also need access to current, high-quality, engaging literature from a variety of genres. Many of my students come to 1st grade reading below grade level. Students can improve in reading by reading more. With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that interests them.
About my class
