It is for this reason that I am asking generous donors to contribute flexible seating options for my students. Every student has a different learning style and as their teacher, I want to empower each student to choose which seat in our classroom best meets their needs. The balance balls, stools, lap desks, and foam pads will provide students with a variety of seating options throughout the day. Students will not be tied to a chair and desk as they learn. Balance balls will help students who feel the need to move and release some energy as they work. Foam pads will be used for students to kneel or sit on at floor tables. Stools will be a great alternative to chairs at my small group table and lap desks will provide privacy for students who need extra space.
I honestly believe that providing students with the freedom to choose how they learn best will enable them to achieve great things!
With budgets running at an all-time low and the push for student achievement at an all-time high, teachers face the unique challenge of elevating their students' skills and abilities with little to no extra resources. In my classroom, I currently have a standing table, two floor tables, two tables with chairs, and clipboards. Your donations will give my students the extra resources they need to be successful. Thank you for helping my students have an enriched learning experience!
