My students come from low-income families that do not have the ability to purchase computers. That burdens then falls on us, the school. As a school we ourselves have been struggling to meet the consistently high demands of technology in every classroom with very limited resources.
Having a set of 5 Chromebooks would mean not only the ability to research in the class, but it would give us the freedom to take it out of the class and have students measure and take data on the field real time.
Without the help of generous donors, I fear we will fall behind the times, something no educator wants.
