Kindergarteners are constantly moving and learning from their environment! Flexible seating will allow students the option of squiggle stools over traditional chairs. These benefit many students by helping them stay engaged while being seated for longer periods of time while simultaneously offering them the freedom and responsibility of choice for what works best for them. They will be available during small group time and throughout the day based on student need and preference. I have a lot of students who need a little more stimulation during learning and these would be very self-soothing to them and could improve focus on content. The classroom book sets I selected will help my students enrich their knowledge of literature, use the classroom library more, enhance their vocabulary, and will encourage them to love and practice reading. Thank you for your help!
