The touch and sound items will help my friends learn through different sounds and textures. These products allow the items to be concealed so students can have the ability to pick up and learn on their own. The colors caterpillar mat allows my friends to learn how to sort and match through fun exploration. This mat allows them to play while learning. Many of my students learn from their senses due to their limited vocabulary. The sensory items allow them to dive into their learning using their senses and allows them to learn through play. These items push my students to step outside their comfort zone.
All these items would be great additions to our special needs preschool class. To make learning easier the for my friends I need to teach through the use of touch and sight. The cognitive games allow them to tie the words to the items allowing them to learn in a different way. My students learn mainly through sensory learning. All these items allow me to push my students past their comfort zone and achieve their goals.
