My students will benefit from these items as they are a vital part of our day-to-day activities. The many math manipulatives I have included will help my students build knowledge and continually grow. Manipulatives are a great way to get my students engaged and excited about the content! Using dice, whiteboards, counters, or blocks amps up any lesson. I will be a first year teacher so I am starting from scratch. I also want my students to be excited about reading, so I want an area where they feel comfortable and eager to go. The flexible seating with a bean bag chair and Bedrest will help me do just that by providing an environment that encourages my young readers.
