I am a 3rd grade teacher. My students are comprised of diverse cultures and backgrounds. Some of my students are shy and withdrawn or have attention deficits and art helps empower them by helping them find new ways to express themselves. Some of my students favorite activity is to draw all day. Other students might be motivated to think of themselves as artists by having access to real art supplies.
