Science and hands-on learning is a huge part of keeping our students excited about learning. Activities such as this Butterflies in the Classroom Kit are new and out of the norm for our students, allowing them a learning experience they may not otherwise have. Life cycles are an important, yet fun way of meeting science standards. Our students will be able to journal about their experience as we observe the changes within the life cycle as well as make predictions and use artistic skills in their journals as they document their observations. We can’t wait to see their excitement as we introduce this lengthy lesson.
