My fourth grade classroom is a very dynamic and diverse group of students who are excited to learn. Our students are focused on a growth mindset and working on persevering through their problems while looking for new solutions. My students have a love for technology which I use in my classroom to engage them on a daily basis and I would love to be able to get my class close to 1 to 1 ratio with devices. Being 1 to 1 with our Chromebooks would give my students the opportunity to work on individual projects and learn more at an individualized pace.
Our elementary school is a Title 1 school with many students who are very low in economic status including over 90% receiving free or reduced lunch at school.
Although in an impoverished area of the city, our school aims to be a very tight knit community providing a safe and secure learning environment for our students to thrive in
