The Osmo system is the perfect entry into the language of coding and is geared toward students at all age levels. Our middle school students need to be exposed to these experiences prior to competing and participating in our robotics curriculum. They also need to be exposed prior to entry into high school where more targeted opportunities and trade paths will be available. Our goal is to provide the best technological background for our students' future career paths.
If our project is funded, our students will gain experiences that students at more affluent schools may experience in their homes with the Osmo systems.
The Osmo system will help support students in their coding skills, their brain functionality, and their future careers. Use of the Osmo system in class will unlock the exciting possibilities our students can have and will bring into our very near futures. It will support them through their academic work and help them with the ever-changing career roles we are seeing because of technology today. With the Osmo, students can learn in the fun and interactive technology-based way that their generation has been introduced to. All students deserve this learning opportunity.
Please consider contributing and making this project come to life at our school. Your donations to this project will provide opportunities for more than twenty-five students to engage in critical thinking through interactive play with the Osmo system and will be used in all future robotics and technology-based classes.
