The students in the program are extremely diverse in many ways. They originate from different races, economic classes, as well as musical skills and ambitions. This level of diversity creates a dynamic program since as an instructor I'm able to tap into the various skills sets and enhance and expand their depth of knowledge and commitment to the program. The students operate within certain boundaries; however, they are encouraged to display their individual talents which contributes even more to them creating a diverse and unique group. The students with the most musical passion have been instrumental in assisting with educating and motivating those who may not be as committed and/or knowledgable. The diversity of the students within the program is commensurate with that of the school, which contributes to others embracing our program and encourage us to excel as a group. My slogan: "You say impossible and we say I'm possible."
