I work as a team with three other special education teachers in a Title 1, Kindergarten through 8th grade school. Together, we share 61 students in kindergarten through 6th grade with disabilities ranging from mild learning disabilities to moderate to severe intellectual disabilities daily. We also assist any other student needing assistance in our students' general education classrooms. We work with students in both general and special education settings. Our biggest obstacle in helping our students grow is maintaining motivation.
