Greetings! My name is Ms. R and I have been a teacher for 20 years in an economically, socially, linguistically, and academically disadvantaged school district. Teaching, reaching, caring about, and bringing hope to these children is my life's work. I truly believe that all children, regardless of background, share an innate love of learning and accomplishment that, if cultivated properly, will bring lasting rewards for us all. Many, many of my students have gone beyond tough life circumstances to excel in school and beyond. In the past, I have largely funded needed resources out-of-pocket. I am no longer in a position to do that, so I am now asking supporters of donorschoose.org to help me provide resources for my students.
