I teach an incredible group of 5th grade students at the Sarah Greenwood Dual Language School in Dorchester, Massachusetts. Our classroom is a vibrant, bilingual learning space where students are not only building their academic skills in English and Spanish, but also growing as compassionate, curious, and confident young people.
Many of my students are new to the country or come from immigrant families. They bring a rich diversity of cultures, languages, and experiences to our classroom. While they face many challenges, they are resilient, hard-working, and eager to learn. We focus on English Language Arts, Math, and Social Emotional Learning to help students thrive both academically and personally.
Our school community works hard to give every student a strong foundation—but our resources are limited. Your support helps us provide the engaging, and inclusive learning environment our students deserve.
