As a school run directly by the state we have a very small budget. The state has alerted us that we have run out of money to purchase any more copy paper. After our current supply has depleted, the faculty of our school will begin pooling money to buy boxes of paper so that we can continue to offer our scholars supplemental material outside of the curriculum throughout the remainder of the year. I am soliciting your donations to alleviate some of the cost for my co-workers and me.
As an ELA teacher, I am constantly searching for materials to supplement our curriculum. I find these helpful materials several places on the internet from Teachers Pay Teachers to Education.com and they must all be downloaded and printed off. After printing them off, I must make copies to distribute to my scholars. I often purchase my own materials, but I know that I will quickly exceed my budget if I purchase all of the paper on my own.
I would also like to be of help to my co-workers by sharing the paper donations with them. Spring testing is fast approaching and we are all looking for rigorous practice test material to expose our students too. These practice tests can range anywhere from 5 to 15 pages, causing paper usage to sky rocket when you are printing a test booklet for 34 students!
I do appreciate you taking the time to consider my project, and I thank you in advance for your support!
