My students live in a high poverty neighborhood. My students attend a Title 1 school with 100% free lunch. They don't have the same opportunities that other students have. We have a lack of money and resources to provide them with classroom novels. They are great kids who make the most of what is around them, sometimes what around them makes that a challenge.
