I work at an urban, high diversity school just east of downtown. My students come from all sorts of backgrounds, cultures, and economic situations. Having diversity at this high of a level is exciting as a teacher, but can be frustrating because many students come to our classes with economic or educational needs that teachers cannot necessarily help with independently.
