My school is a much needed charter school serving children who need a smaller class environment and an enriched curriculum. My students are wonderful. I have students who come from a variety of challenging backgrounds. With the help of Donor's Choose I am hoping to help them ALL meet their educational and developmental goals. I have a student with Down Syndrome who gives the best hugs but is unable to communicate with me because her verbal skills are limited. I'm hoping the bean bags will give us a space in the classroom where she's comfortable to connect with me. I also have a student with autism. He loves connecting things. He connects markers and unifix cubes. I'm hoping that the math manipulatives will help him meet his math goals.
