The initial purpose that prompted me to request dry-erase tables was to have an area in my science lab where students could work in groups and/or with their lab partners to collaborate and come up with ideas and answer focus questions.
This unique, collaborative space would also promote social/ emotional learning during my health classes, Social Studies classes, and be an excellent place for my Work on Writing and Word Work stations.
With limited space in my classroom, if I receive these two new tables, I could remove some student desks and make my room more station-friendly. My students would greatly benefit from an area that promotes collaborative learning.
