Every year I read "The Chocolate Touch" to my students. We do a summary and question and answer worksheet after each chapter and discuss the events that occur in the chapter.
I would like to include my students in the reading of this story, with the goal of inspiring their love of reading, building their vocabulary and fluency levels.
In addition, we complete a diorama at the conclusion of the book, that reflects on each students favorite part of the book. My goal is to make my kids love to read! If they learn to love reading, their vocabulary and comprehension skills will naturally grow.
