With our aging inventory of instruments, many of the mouthpieces are broken or missing and that makes the rest of the instrument unplayable. A few simple mouthpieces (and related equipment- ligatures, neck straps, etc.) can make a huge difference!
For instance right now, we have two tenor saxophones with no mouthpieces so no one can play those instruments. Clarinet mouthpieces are chipped and students fight to make a sound on this instruments. We are missing other neck straps, brass mouthpieces, and are in short supply of oboe reeds! Please help me find a way to make sure as many of our instruments are working as possible so all the students can play!
