Our classroom is focused on fostering a culturally responsive environment and celebrating the diversity inherent in its community. The "words" option on Osmo will give students the opportunity to create and learn from the pairing of words and photographic clues. They will be able to work on these skills in whole group, small group, or pairs. Students will use Osmo vocabulary to support academic vocabulary acquisition along with the ability to retain and teach the rest of the class their native cultural languages. The students will be able to create their own "words" activities to empower students as the teachers and create a peer-to-peer teaching and learning environment.
