These materials will make a huge difference in my students' learning by giving them the opportunity to explore different mediums of art. I truly believe all students can be successful in art, and by being able to try new things, more students may find their niche.
Thomas Jefferson said, "With great risk, comes great reward." When students have the opportunity to learn new techniques, they can expand their skills and become more confident in their abilities. Once a student finds something they feel they excel at, their confidence grows, which makes them more willing to try new things and take risks with their art. This is the rewarding part: they learn to let go of what they "think" art should be and learn to create from their heart. That's where the real magic begins and, hopefully, never ends.
