In a few words, I would describe my school as low-income, diverse, and challenging. I would describe my students with the same words in addition to curious, ambitious, and brave. I have watched my kids break barriers and exceed expectations by working hard and having an honest desire to learn and better themselves. I teach kids with learning disabilities and low reading levels, and then some that are ready to start college tomorrow. I have kids that have no idea what they'll do when they graduate, and then others that are ready to change the world.
