The materials that I have chosen for this project will help me develop into a stronger social studies teacher. I have been teaching Social Studies for 17 years and want to make sure that my students are prepared for college and career. This donation will give my students the ability to see history through the eyes of the author. Here the students will be able to see text and be able to understand the emotions that tied behind the historical event to make a more personal connections to real life events occurring today and how each person can stand up and be a change agent.

About my class
