Each week students will receive a Scholastic News Magazine to use in the classroom, as well as access to the digital version on their Chromebook. We read and discuss the topics in class. This provides a springboard for writing activities, research projects and more. Students can have the articles read to them if needed. The short videos are engaging. The grade level magazine has topics that address our units in social studies and science. The students are always thrilled when they get their new magazine each Monday. It is such a worthwhile activity for my classroom.
