Our school district has finally been able to provide 1:1 iPad availability to all schools. However, the financial burden of headphones has been placed upon teachers and parents. The parents in the community where I serve are economically disadvantaged. We are so close to having the resources necessary to move forward with engaging lessons and technology embedded curriculum, but we will not be able to fully embrace that goal until the students have their own headphones. The great thing with providing high quality headphones is the low risk of them breaking and the opportunity to use them for years to come with future students.
