The use of manipulatives in math for early learners is key. They help students gain better understanding of certain concepts by providing hands on learning experiences. Besides providing hands on learning, math manipulatives are a great way to make math fun and engaging for students. We use manipulatives in the classroom on a daily basis to help support learning. However, given the current state of education during the Pandemic, my students are currently learning remotely and are in need of those same materials to help them with their learning at home.
By donating to our project, you will help provide the support my students need to be more engaged in our math lessons during remote learning. Math will be fun and interesting to them because they will get to have the same hands on learning as they would if we were in the classroom. In the end, my students will be more successful because this project will help provide all the tools they need at home to reinforce the math concepts they are learning.
