The materials requested will benefit the student's in ways that they can learn based on their disability. Some students in my classroom prefer to listen to audio using the headphones while reading. Other students need more visuals based on the lesson such as the giant magnetic graph and array chart. Some students also prefer functional seating such as the active chairs, and the wobble cushions. These items could create an environment where the students are able to concentrate sit comfortably and concentrate. The posters would be a great asset to the classroom to create a positive mindset for the students every day. The timer would be very helpful to keep students on track with a display in front of the classroom.
All of the materials will benefit all of the students in the Special Education program. All of the materials will be used daily to accommodate students with different disabilities. The materials would be used in the subjects of Math, Science, History, and Health.
