The incoming Kindergarten students in my classroom this year will have different cultural backgrounds. Some of the students are from low-income households. I will be co-teaching with staff from our English Language Learner Program to help support their language needs. Following the COVID year which restricted access to preschool, this will be the first school experience for many of the children. I will have a class size of 24 students this year (increased from 15 students last year). It will be very important to have visually appealing resources with clearly marked spaces to support a variety of student needs.
