My project is to create a mobile toolbox of incentives creating an initiative that promotes empathy and respect among my students. My students will benefit from the use of the incentives as positive behavior reinforcement. The items requested will be given to students during classroom and small group lessons. Because of the low-socioeconomic status of many of my students, these items will be a welcome reward.
The items that I am requesting, mini flashlights, simple fidget toys, and cartoon animal pencils with erasers will be used as incentives during my classroom guidance and/or my small group lessons. I use incentives that help with anxiety and positive behavior reinforcement.
I would like to empower my students to make meaningful consistent behavioral changes, develop positive relationships, goal-setting, and conflict resolution skills.
