Throughout the past two years, I have found that students with exceptional needs learn skills to mastery when able to have hands on manipulatives. Many of my students are not able to use pen and paper to show off their knowledge.
Velcro dots and color ink!! The file folders will be printed with HP color ink on white cardstock paper, trimmed with paper cutter, and laminated with an laminator. Each folder with an activity inside. Students will be able to manipulate their responses by choosing an answer from a bank and placing it on the correct question. The Velcro dots allows the folder to be used multiple times. Printing in color helps capture the students focus. The folders can be used more than once to help teach the skill, master the skill, and then maintain the skill.
