I have 16 girls and 5 boys in my classroom. They come from poverty stricken neighborhoods. They come from various cultural and backgrounds. This offers a great challenge for myself as well as the students. It also offers a great opportunity for people to work together and learn about others and their way of life. They attend an inner city school that struggles to keep and maintain adequate equipment and supplies.
