Our school is very small but diverse. Many of my students are from low socioeconomic backgrounds. Our school is a Title I school. 100% of our students receive free lunch. Most of our students have parents who are field workers. Salinas grows a lot of lettuce and strawberries. I am so lucky to have such wonderful, supportive families and sweet, kind children who are excited and enthusiastic to learn.
