Every morning I am greeted with 20 smiling and anxious students between the ages of 4 and 5 years old. We are a public school full day Pre K, in collaboration with Head Start. Acceptance to our school is based on low income eligibility. All students receive free breakfast, lunch and snack. Many of my students come from homes of single parents, other family members raising them or they are in foster care. My students love coming to school and being able to express themselves while learning through play. With the world developing at a fast pace through technology, I would like to see my students have a jump start with access to more technology than what is currently available to them in our classroom.
