The play-dough, balls, and stamps will all be used during content-specific centers time. These supplies will allow the students to engage with the content in a way that is developmentally-appropriate and draws on their kinesthetic and sensory needs.
This project would significantly increase the level of organization in the classroom as well as the access students would have to developmentally-appropriate materials.
The table caddies and folders will be used to color-code table assignments and give structure to our centers time. Each table will be assigned a specific color and will work on the materials provided at that table during our centers.
My students would directly benefit from playing with the play-dough, balls, and stamps. I plan on using these manipulatives to develop my students' number recognition, phonemic and phonological awareness, as well as their gross motor skills.
