I am fortunate enough to teach 26 active and inquisitive Transitional kindergarten students in the morning and assist my school in the afternoon as an ED Tech Mentor.
I work at a Title 1 school in Northern California. My Transitional Kindergarten students are eager to grow and learn together and they come from extremely diverse backgrounds. We are multicultural, from many different family make ups and varied economic levels, but mostly socioeconomically disadvantaged with approximately 80% of the students at our school qualifying for free or reduced lunch. With our challenges we always come together each year as a classroom community.
