I have several students in my class that struggle with sensory processing issues which result in an inability to concentrate and focus in class. Noise reduction ear muffs would minimize distractions and loud noises that are overstimulating to students with sensory processing issues including ADHD students and those with autism. Wobble chairs provide stimulation for those students who must move or figit in order to meet their sensory need and improve attention and focus.
Wobble chairs and noise reduction ear muffs would not only meet the sensory needs of my students but also increase their academic achievement in all subject areas.
Autism, ADHD, and sensory processing issues are on the rise in today's classrooms. It is becoming more and more challenging to meet the needs of the students and provide them with the best environment for optimal learning. This donation would help my students this year and for years to come, to experience academic success by meeting their sensory needs.
