My students are amazing sixth- eighth grade students, who attend a special needs school located in North Carolina. They are hard workers and love positive attention. My students are a diverse group of children that come from many different backgrounds, comprising an eclectic, exciting mix of young people.
They enjoy learning and thrive when they are provided with alternative ways to learn and grow inside and outside the classroom.
Because of the socio-economic struggles of many of my students, I have found it increasingly important to provide them with a learning environment that will prove to be both engaging and empowering.
They are kind, caring, and the hardest workers. I hope to give them the tools they need to be successful in and outside the classroom.
