My students have never experienced a Breakout Edu kit before. By funding this project, these students will be able to explore new challenges and build teamwork.
This resource will allow my students to think above and beyond traditional worksheets and projects. Breakout Edu challenges students to notice details and continue to persevere to find the answer. The students have to work together and build upon their teamwork and communication skills in order to find the mystery in the box.
I plan to implement several classroom transformation days with my students. This activity will be a great addition to the content on those days in particular.
This will be the only Breakout kit in my district and I hope to be able to share this resources with not only my students, but with my colleagues. Effectively, helping the whole district. Once the box is purchased, it will last for years of use.
