I'm a first year teacher in the DFW suburbs. My students are a diverse group of capable learners. More than half speak a language other than English at home, with six different languages represented. They are curious, motivated, and kind. They are scientists, mathematicians, authors, and artists. They learn coding, in addition to core subjects, a tool that will help them as they continue on their educational journey.
