Hello My name is Tracy P. Zabin. This is my tenth year teaching in the inner city. My children are incredible. We are a Title 1 school where 100% of the students receive free breakfast and lunch. My students families do not have much and really can not buy many if any school supplies. I want to build a safe classroom for my students where they can learn new things, explore new ideas, and make mistakes knowing that they can keep trying until they get it right. There are so many things that we need to help students use to understand concepts. I teach through project-based learning. This allows children to show me what they have learned in a way that showcases their talents and strengths. I would appreciate any help anyone can offer to help me make this possible for my students. They have grown so much that they believe in themselves. I look forward to seeing what my kids will do this year.
