Flexible seating is a great tool for the classroom. It keeps students engaged and motivated during the day. It also promotes collaborative learning. Most importantly, flexible seating provides students with choice. My hope is that when students walk into my classroom, they are able to find a space that fits their needs. They might choose to use one of our standing desks or picnic seats. There are even options to support good health. The yoga balls and wobbly stools help students build core strength. The table set and stools in the class library will feel like being at a cafe. No matter the option, students will have a safe, caring place to learn.

About my class
