Students will have an introduction to science technology using Ozobots. Programming projects will include using compass direction, time and speed to succeed in a directional goal. Students need confidence, skills, and experience in science to pursue a life-long, lasting career. These robots will build self-esteem and interest in the field of science technology. Students will be able to compete, collaborate and have fun while learning. Projects will include mapping a destination, calculating speed and writing code. Students will use these programmable robots with support for many low-level functions and advanced programming concepts. Using OzoBlocky, a Google-based program, with the one-to-one laptops already provided by the district they will be able to explore concepts and applications for future careers.
