My fifth graders come from diverse backgrounds including Asian, Caucasian, Hispanic, and the largest group, Pacific Islanders. 36% of students receive free or reduced lunches. Half the students come from nearby neighborhoods and half are geographic exceptions from neighboring towns. In our school of 360 students, we have two energetic fifth grade classes. They love learning and are great collaborators. We are not a Title 1 school which means that funds are very limited for a small school like ours.
