I am a Title 1 school in La Porte, TX. At this time I have 10 students in a self-contained classroom. Each student has some form of disability, including Intellectually Disabled and Autistic. They are an amazing group of kids and they work incredibly hard each day. Their disabilities never stand in their way. My students stay with me for 3 years so we have several years together. It is exciting to see how much they grow each year...both academically and physically.
