We have 500 students in our urban school in Massachusetts. Most of our students are underprivileged kids who have the bare minimum at home. They have very little opportunity to physically explore nature within their concrete neighborhood. Many do not have easy access to interesting and challenging reading materials outside of school. Our students are passionate about learning. Our students want to move beyond their TV and video games. They just need the inspiration and materials to do so.
