I want my classroom to be a place for engaged and enthusiastic students. The students I work with often have trouble sitting still for too long and need to fidget while they work. Some come from traumatic situations and need help to center themselves.
Children need a safe, comfortable, flexible place to work that allows movement.
The wobble chairs, low seating, stools and chair bands will allow for flexibility, comfort and movement.
The markers, magnets, tape and bulletin board papers will allow me to mix and match colors in a deliberate way for a soothing and more tranquil wall and board space.
