Our growing elementary school is located in the Green Valley Ranch community of Denver, Co. As a member of the founding third grade team, I am thrilled to participate in fostering a school environment that actively seeks to prepare our scholars for "success in the diverse environments that await them in college, in the work place, and in community life by teaching them about responsibility, empowerment, aspiration, citizenship, and honesty." Inside the classroom I strive to create a space where students can find their voice and grow. Through rich exposure to a variety of fiction and informational texts, my students will have an opportunity to challenge their thinking and use perspective taking. Right now, however, our classroom library is brand new and we thank you for partnering with us as we bring our students the volumes they deserve.
