The pandemic has illustrated the need to go back to the basics. This project will replenish notebooks, binders, whiteboards, pens, journals, colored pencils, glue, pencils, timers, poster boards, graphing paper, scissors, index cards, and post-its to students so that they can engage in everyday learning activities, meaningful collaboration, and project-based learning tasks which helps them become better readers and mathematicians. This project also replenishes the classroom headphone set. Our headphones have been worn out from remote learning needs. Headphones will help students excel in math, language arts, and science because students utilize Dreambox, Lexia, and Nearpod for lessons. Headphones are also a requirement for state standardized testing so they are a critical need. This project also helps students have safe classroom environments by providing Kleenex, hand sanitizer, and a thermometer to help us fight Covid outbreaks in the classroom. Due to remote learning during the past two years, many of our classroom supplies have dwindled or disappeared. This project will replenish classroom resources so that students can have the materials needed for high-quality lessons that encourage creativity, collaboration, and hands-on learning in language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. It will also help us to ensure a little bit of safety in our classroom by providing much needed hygiene items.
